Cameron Vance

Cameron spearheads Cavanaugh’s investment activities, overseeing direct deal sourcing, acquisitions underwriting, due diligence, and the management of the investment lifecycle. Grounded in a disciplined analytical approach and guided by conservative projections, Cameron ensures a meticulous, fact-driven underwriting process for each investment opportunity.
His multifamily acquisition strategy encompasses sourcing both marketed and off-market investment opportunities, fostering enduring relationships with brokers and property owners to maintain a steady deal flow across diverse markets.
With a track record of overseeing the acquisition of $2 billion in multifamily assets spanning the Western and Sunbelt Regions of the U.S., Cameron’s experience encompasses a range of investment structures. These include sponsored syndications with high-net-worth individuals, partnerships with family offices and private clients, as well as institutional joint ventures with industry leaders such as Blackstone and Oaktree Capital.
Cameron’s leadership played a pivotal role in driving the growth of one of the nation’s largest multifamily housing providers. As head of the acquisition team, he successfully launched the firm’s inaugural three investment funds, deploying over $300 million of equity across 10 U.S. markets.
Cameron holds a finance degree from Montana State University, supplemented by a certificate in Urban Planning and Development from UC San Diego. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
Caleb McKinley, CPA

Caleb oversees the management of each investment property, blending his financial and operational acumen with a passion for real estate and its transformative impact on communities. Caleb also leads the strategic efforts to raise capital, cultivate investor relationships, and establish mutually beneficial partnerships. With a keen understanding of market dynamics and investor needs, he plays a crucial role in positioning the organization for success, ensuring alignment between investor interests and business objectives.
Caleb is the President of our management affiliate, Cavanaugh Properties, Inc. (CPI). Based in San Diego, CPI provides property management services for multi-family properties located in California. CPI leverages advanced technology and leading management practices to provide the highest level of services for its properties. Caleb has led successful management teams across a large mix of property types, situations, and locations, including new development lease-ups, conventional market rate and affordable apartment buildings. His focus on building strong teams with great customer service leads to creating exceptional value and improving property performance.
Previously, Caleb served as a national director for ConAm Management, overseeing a portfolio of over 50,000 apartments nationwide. In this capacity, he directed national management accounts for market-rate properties across the U.S. and held direct responsibility for compliance across a tax credit affordable portfolio exceeding 20,000 units.
Caleb holds a degree from the University of San Diego and is a recipient of the Daniel B. Woodruff Scholarship from USD’s Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate. He is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed Real Estate Broker in California, actively involved in professional organizations including the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM) and the California Apartment Association (CAA).
